Nele Nisu

Nele is the data re-use program lead at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications (Republic of Estonia). She has legal background and she worked as lawyer and data protection officer in the Ministry of Social Affairs for many years.

Now is Nele's work closely related with legal initiatives in the European Union, such as artificial intelligence, data act or data governance act. She is preparing human centered data governance principles and coordinates the wider adoption of privacy technologies in the public sector. She is also responsible for organizing the data panel and data sandboxes
