
Marianne Jarlaud
Marianne Jarlaud is currently Deputy Head of the Innovation and Digital Finance Division within the Regulation and International Affairs Department of the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF).
She joined the AMF in 2017.
She represents the AMF in European and international political forums dedicated to investor protection and the regulation of market intermediaries from 2017 to 2022 and, since 2022, to financial innovation.
Since 2022, she has been closely involved in regulatory developments affecting the crypto-asset industry at European level, as well as in the preparation of new regulations concerning innovation in financial markets, such as the European open finance framework and the European regulation on artificial intelligence.
Before joining the AMF, Ms Jarlaud worked for eight years as a compliance officer covering the wealth management, private equity, market and investment banking activities of French and international financial institutions. She graduated from ESSEC in 2010 and holds a Master 2 degree in financial criminal law.
