Marilin Pikaro, Director of Innovation, Conduct and Consumers, oversees thematic and policy work on digital finance, payments, innovation monitoring, ICT and security risks, MICA supervision and consumer protection areas. She is a seasoned executive leading large regulatory and compliance programs with a robust background spanning both the public and private sectors. Marilin has held positions such as a special advisor to the European Commission, Chief Compliance Officer, and a member of executive teams and management boards within the banking industry. Her experience also includes leading Fraud Investigation and Dispute Services at a prominent audit firm, as well as working as a Senior Investigator in criminal police, specialising in economic and cyber-crimes.

Marilin holds a postgraduate degree in Financial Strategy and has completed an EMBA program at Oxford University.
