Silvia Gerboles
Silvia is Expert Senior Group Legal Counsel in Ericsson Global Privacy Office, with over 25 years’ experience in data protection, privacy and cybersecurity. Within Ericsson Group Silvia leads Global Privacy Customer matters, and the International Data Transfers mechanisms and global transborder data flows; currently involved in Data Governance and Data Usage in Ericsson Global programs and implementation of AI regulations. She also serves as Data Protection Officer for some Ericsson Group Companies.
Silvia is based in Madrid and has previously served in consultancy Firms and Law Firms. Member of the Madrid Bar Association, she holds an LLM and a master´s degree in IP Law from IE. Silvia is also Certified Data Protection Officer by the Spanish Supervisory Authority (AEPD) and holds several international certifications on Privacy.
Silvia is a regular lecturer on Data Privacy, IT and TMT, at different Master Programs and Seminars, and she has written several publications on data protection, IT and Commercial.
