Chiara Riondino

Chiara Riondino is Head of Future of Work and Youth Employment in the Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion of the European Commission, where she is responsible for initiatives related to the digital transformation of the workplace, including artificial intelligence and algorithmic management in the workplace, and platform work. Chiara is also responsible for policies and initiatives related to youth employment, such as the Youth Guarantee and quality traineeships.

 

Chiara held a number of positions in DG Employment, including Head of vocational education and training and policy coordinator for employment policies and fair working conditions. Prior to joining the Commission, Chiara worked both in the private and in the public sector, including as a consultant in Accenture and as a manager at the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance.
